ERWIN, Malcolm Leroy - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg - Malcolm L. Erwin, 52 of Van Bibber Lake, Rt 2, Greencastle died at 10 a.. Sunday at his residence. He had lived at Veedersburg most of his life until moving to Greencastle in 1968. Mr. Erwin was an appliance technician for Horace Link & Co at Greencastle. He was a member of First Church of Christ of Covington, Masonic Lodge 132 of Cloverdale, Scottish Rite of Terre Haute and Zorah Shrine & Zorah Shrine Zips Motor Patrol of Terre Haute. He was born Jan 7, 1927 at Indianapolis, a son of Merch and Doris Minnick Erwin. He married April 6, 1946 to Marie Sewell. On March 30, 1979, he was married to Vickie Gaines. Surviving are his wife; his mother of Greencastle; a son, Dale Thomas Erwin of Rt 13, Brazil; a daughter, Lois Luther of Rt 2, Greencastle and two grandchildren. Services will be in Dickerson Funeral Home at Veedersburg at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Hugh Dooley officiating. Masonic services will be at 8 o'clock tonight in the funeral home. Burial will be in Bonebrake Cemetery near Veedersburg. Friends may call 2-4 or 7-9 today at the funeral home.
